Responsibilities: Demonstrates proficiency in design principles and processes, with experience executing design projects from conception to launch. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver effective design solutions, incorporating feedback from stakeholders. Leads design projects with guidance from senior designers. Creates and presents design concepts to stakeholders. Mentors entry-level designers and supports their growth and development. Example: Heading the redesign project of a web section interface, presenting the proposed designs to the management, and incorporating their feedback to ensure the final product meets the company's standards and expectations. Education and Experience: Post-secondary education or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of UI/UX design experience. Experience in front end development or experience working closely with front-end developers is a must. Proficiency with contemporary design and prototyping software. A strong design/UX portfolio. Skills: Creative – applying design thinking to build unconventional designs that exceed stakeholder expectations; seeking out experts and research, constructively. challenging existing strategies and synthesizing ideas and insights well. Software skills; ability to use a variety of software i.e. Adobe CC, Figma, Office 365 etc. Design Layout Skills - utilizing iconography, typography, colour, and interaction together, to assist users in navigating products. Collaboration Skills – ability to brainstorm creative design concepts using wireframes/sketches/whiteboarding while leveraging solid design principles on a diverse team in a dynamic, rapid growth environment. The role requires a results-oriented and efficient planner focusing on user needs. Committed to continuous professional development and training. Ability to author HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is valued.
