Interior Design/Architectural Drafter

Job Overview We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Design/Architectural Drafter to join our creative team. This role involves translating design concepts into precise technical drawings and plans, supporting both residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in drafting, interior design, and architectural software, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, and clients to bring visions to life. Responsibilities • Develop detailed architectural and interior design drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite. • Create accurate renderings and visualizations to communicate design intent. • Assist in project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with contractors during renovation and remodeling projects. • Prepare construction documents, specifications, and contract drawings adhering to industry standards. • Collaborate with lighting sales teams to integrate lighting design and lighting sales strategies into projects. • Support the development of interior design concepts, including color theory application and material selection. • Review contracts and ensure compliance with project requirements throughout the design process. • Participate in client meetings to present designs and incorporate feedback effectively. • Maintain organized project files and documentation for seamless workflow. Qualifications • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite is required. • Strong drafting skills with knowledge of CAD standards for architectural and interior design projects. • Experience in interior design principles, lighting design, remodeling, renovation, construction documentation, and project management. • Familiarity with contracts, budgeting processes, sales strategies related to lighting sales, and client communication. • Knowledge of color theory and materials selection for interior spaces. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
