Interim Accounting Manager | Remote

Our Vaco team is partnering with a large client on a special project requiring the support of an Interim Accounting Manager (balance sheet reconciliation focused). This is a fully remote opportunity, and must be within the continental U.S. This Accounting Manager will manage a team of staff/senior accountants, leading the charge across balance sheet reconciliations for a region of P&Ls. Applicants must have proven experience as an Accounting Manager in an enterprise/large organization, reconciling complex and high volume transactions across the balance sheet. Must be adept with financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidates will have the following qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar (i.e. Business Administration) • 4+ years of general ledger accounting experience (journals, reconciliations), proven in a large enterprise (high volume and/or complex transactions) • 2+ years of experience managing a team of degreed accountants • Available to start by 10/27 and available to commit to 6 months Our consultants have access to our benefits and 401K options, as well as our extensive network of resources, including professional development, holiday and bonus opportunities, and more. • This is an interim/contract position, yielding 40 hours/week Fully remote Candidates must live within the continental US.
