Integration Architect IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Location:RemoteJob Summary We are seeking an experienced Integration Architect with strong expertise in IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / IBM App Connect to design, implement, and govern enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate will lead the integration architecture, define best practices, and drive scalable, secure, and high-performance integrations across diverse systems and platforms. Key Responsibilities Integration Architecture • Design and define enterprise integration architecture using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM App Connect.• Develop integration patterns for real-time, event-driven, and batch processing. • Define standards, frameworks, and best practices for integration solutions. Development & Implementation • Lead the design and implementation of message flows, ESQL, Java, and REST/SOAP services in ACE. • Integrate systems using APIs, messaging (MQ/JMS), and file-based • Develop and manage API-led connectivity using ACE and related IBM tools. Middleware & Messaging • Work with IBM MQ, message queues, topics, and event-driven architectures.• Handle message transformation, routing, validation, and error handling. • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of integration solutions. Governance & Security • Implement security best practices including JWT, OAuth, SSL/TLS, and message encryption. • Define governance models for APIs and integrations. • Ensure compliance with enterprise integration and data security standards. DevOps & Operations • Support bolthires/CD pipelines for integration deployments using Jenkins, Git, etc. • Perform environment setup, configuration, and deployment of ACE applications.• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA). Collaboration & Leadership • Act as a technical lead and mentor for integration developers. • Work closely with business, application, and infrastructure teams to align integration strategy with business goals. • Participate in design reviews and architecture discussions. Required Skills & Qualifications • 8+ years of IT experience with strong integration architecture background. • 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / IBM App Connect.• Strong experience with REST, SOAP, APIs, and service-oriented architecture. • Proficiency in ESQL, Java, and message flow development. • Experience with IBM MQ, messaging, and event-driven architectures. • Knowledge of bolthires/CD, Git, Jenkins, and DevOps practices. • Strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills. Preferred Skills • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or bolthires Cloud Platform). • Knowledge of Kafka or event streaming platforms. • Experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB) migrations to ACE.• Exposure to API management • IBM ACE / App Connect certifications.
