Job Title: Intake Specialist / Phone Operator
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5 PM CST. Monday to Friday. Woodbury, Minnesota
Start Date: as soon as possible
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Intake Specialist / Phone Operator to be the first point of contact for our clients. This individual will handle incoming calls, conduct intake interviews, take clear and accurate notes, and ensure that client information is properly recorded for our attorneys and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
• Conduct client intake calls following firm guidelines
• Document and input all client information accurately into our system
• Take detailed notes and summarize client needs for attorney review
• Provide excellent customer service while showing empathy and professionalism
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with care
Qualifications:
• Clear, professional, and neutral (minimal accent) phone communication skills
• MUST HAVE A WINDOWS OS COMPUTER
• Strong listening and note-taking abilities
• Prior experience in customer service, call centers, or legal intake preferred but not required
• Comfortable handling high call volume and multitasking
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools)
• Ability to maintain professionalism in sensitive or emotional conversations
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with veterans, service members, or in a legal/medical setting
