Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients to ensure proper billing and reimbursement.
Review and analyze insurance information to identify any discrepancies or issues.
Communicate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to obtain and clarify insurance information.
Accurately document and maintain records of insurance verification process.
Collaborate with other team members to resolve insurance-related issues and ensure timely and accurate billing.
Stay up-to-date on insurance policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance.
Provide outstanding customer service to patients and insurance companies, addressing any concerns or questions.
Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve complex insurance issues and find solutions for patients.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as HIPAA regulations, to protect patient privacy.
Meet performance goals and metrics related to insurance verification process.
Identify and suggest process improvements to streamline the insurance verification process.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company to patients and insurance companies.
Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to insurance verification.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient insurance verification process.
