They are seeking an Institutional Sales Specialist (Growth) to support Institutional Sales Partners and facilitate client onboarding, while collaborating with various internal teams to ensure seamless operations.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with Institutional Partners/Dealers to onboard new clientsAct as the primary point of contact for clients referred through Precious Metal Dealers and Exempt Market Product IssuersAssist Precious Metal Dealers/ Issuers and their referred clients with the account opening and funding processWork with Back Office to complete new accounts and account transfersEnsure the completion of client on boarding documentationBecome an SME on account opening, Precious Metals and Private ProductsAssist clients with deposits and withdrawalsCoordinate with back office teams on purchases and redemptions of Exempt Market ProductsCollaborate with Finance, Compliance, Risk and Back Office teams for trade reviews, settlements, transfer updates, account completion, purchases withdrawals and redemptionsGenerate delivery quotes for precious metal deliveries and liaise with third party vendors to complete these deliveriesMake outbound calls to clients to assist them with their precious metals and exempt market products related queries and other account related inquiriesReview precious metals trades for inventory and reconciliation with storage facility reportsParticipate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectivenessWork with issuers and the back office on DRIP deposits and distributionsSkillsPost-secondary degree or diploma in a related field1–2 years of experience in Client ServicesMinimum 1 year of related work experience in financial services or technical supportDemonstrated ability to provide value-added, superior customer serviceSME-level knowledge of Options, Registered Plans, and technical troubleshootingStrong communication skills to explain trading, funding, and account logisticsAbility to manage multiple tasks and channels simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentCSI courses or completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC)Standard rotating 8-hour shifts, Monday to FridayAvailability for overtime as neededHybrid workplaceCPH, OLC, or DFC certifications are considered assetsBenefitsHealth & wellbeing resources and programsPaid vacation, personal, and sick days for work-life balanceCompetitive compensation and benefits packagesWork-life balance in a hybrid environment with at least 3 days in officeCareer growth and development opportunitiesOpportunities to contribute to community causesWork with diverse team members in an inclusive and collaborative environmentCompany OverviewQuestrade is an award-winning low-cost digital alternative to traditional banks that is changing the Canadian financial services industry.
