In this hybrid role, you will specialize in commercial drain products and play a crucial role in the sales process by accurately preparing quotes for customers, ensuring they receive competitive pricing and product information.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide accurate and timely quotes for commercial drain productsReview customer inquiries and specifications to determine the appropriate product solutions and pricingWork closely with suppliers and internal departments to gather necessary information and ensure accurate quotesMaintain a comprehensive knowledge of commercial drain products, including their features, specifications, and pricingKeep up-to-date with market trends, competitor products, and industry developments related to commercial drain productsCommunicate effectively with customers to clarify requirements, provide product information, and address any questions or concerns related to quotesPrepare and present quotes in a clear and professional manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and proceduresFollow up with customers to ensure timely feedback on quotes and address any modifications or revisions as requiredAssist the sales team in negotiation and pricing discussions with customers, providing necessary documentation and supportMaintain accurate records of quotes, sales data, and customer interactions using the company's CRM systemCollaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless order processing and timely product deliveryField customer-service phone calls that may pertain to technical questions, pricing questions, or order issuesSkillsMust have prior Quotes experiencePrevious experience in a similar role, preferably as a Quotes Specialist or Sales Support Specialist within the commercial drain products industryIn-depth knowledge of commercial drain products, including various types of drains, pipe systems, and related accessoriesExcellent attention to detail, with the ability to accurately interpret customer requirements and prepare competitive quotesStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teamsExceptional organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple quotes simultaneously and meet tight deadlinesProficient computer skills, including experience with CRM systems, MS Office Suite, and other relevant softwareStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a teamA customer-centric approach with a focus on providing excellent service and building strong relationships with clientsFlexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environmentBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceDisability insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceCompany OverviewManufacturer's rep firm for the Plumbing and Heating industry covering from Maine to Virginia.
