Input Specialist

We are actively seeking a meticulous and reliable Input Specialist to join our public health team. In this critical role, you will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data that drives impactful public health research and programs. Key Responsibilities: Accurately enter, validate, and maintain complex project and research data using advanced databases and spreadsheet tools. Conduct rigorous quality assurance checks to guarantee data completeness, consistency, and accuracy. Prepare, clean, and organize large datasets to facilitate comprehensive analysis and reporting. Collaborate closely with program managers, researchers, and evaluation teams to fulfill data requirements and support project goals. Uphold strict confidentiality standards, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and all applicable data protection regulations. Generate and deliver data summaries and basic reports as requested by leadership. Proactively contribute to enhancing data collection and entry processes. Required Qualifications: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Public Health, Health Administration, Information Management, or a related field. Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience in data entry, administrative support, or similar roles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; familiarity with REDCap, Qualtrics, Salesforce, or comparable platforms is highly preferred. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to manage multiple data streams efficiently. Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining effective communication with team members. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: 6years Experience working with public health data or within nonprofit, academic, or healthcare settings. Solid understanding of HIPAA, data privacy, and confidentiality best practices. Basic knowledge of public health principles and terminology.
