About the position

The Infusion Nurse II, Cardiopulmonary position is designed for experienced nursing professionals who will provide expert care to patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions. This role involves direct patient care, education, and medication administration across various settings, including home, clinic, and hospital environments. The nurse will also mentor new nurses and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
Ā• Provide exceptional coordination of care, patient education, and medication administration for patients.

Ā• Mentor and train new nurses through the Central Orientation Program, demonstrating competency and observing home visits.
,
Ā• Collaborate with healthcare teams to address changes in patient condition or drug management issues.
,
Ā• Work with nursing leadership to meet operational and performance improvement goals focused on patient care.

Requirements
Ā• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
,
Ā• Active or eligibility to obtain national certification (CRNI) or other relevant certification.
,
Ā• BSN degree with 3+ years of relevant RN experience, ASN degree with 5+ years, or Nursing Diploma with 8+ years of relevant RN experience; MSN degree preferred.

Ā• Five or more years of intensive care nursing experience in Cardiac Care Unit, Pulmonary Care Unit, or similar clinical roles.
,
Ā• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within a large geographic area.
,
Ā• Tech savvy with the ability to use Microsoft and IOS applications and devices.

Ā• Experience in home healthcare settings.
