$400 monthly stipend. Hiring Manager is actively seeking for a local candidate.(Stipend for full time resident of the following counties: Park, Eagle, Grand, Clear Creek, Lake, and Chaffee)

Responsibilities of Medical Assistant
• Promote the health, well-being, and safety of patients in line with care standards.
• Perform a variety of clinical tasks as directed by authorized healthcare providers within the Physician Group Scope of Practice.
• Assist with front office duties and scheduling of patient appointments or tests.
• Maintain accurate chart documentation and medical records.
• Attend in-service presentations and seminars to facilitate personal and professional growth.
• Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, the organization’s mission, and core values.

Requirements for Medical Assistant:
• High School Diploma required.
• Medical Assisting Trade/Technical School preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification or registration from an approved organization required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required.
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant Core Skills and additional competencies specific to specialties, as defined by the CHPG Medical Assistants’ Scope of Practice.
• Successful completion of assigned/required courses in the online learning platform.
• Maintain good standing as an Associate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.68 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
