We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Cloud and DevSecOps Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Principal Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions while embedding security practices throughout the software development lifecycle. You will lead our efforts to architect, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines, while applying security frameworks and governance best practices to support our organization's mission-critical applications and services. Responsibilities:
Cloud Architecture and Strategy: Develop and lead the cloud architecture strategy, encompassing cloud-native application design, infrastructure provisioning, and optimization for cost and performance. Drive the adoption of best practices in the deployment and management of cloud services.
DevSecOps Integration: Champion the DevSecOps culture by collaborating with development and operations teams to integrate security into all stages of the software development lifecycle. Implement automated security testing and vulnerability scanning within CI/CD pipelines.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code templates using tools such as Terraform or Ansible. Ensure version control and best practices are followed in IaC repositories.
Security and Compliance: Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across cloud environments. Collaborate with security teams to assess risks, perform security audits, and address compliance requirements.
Cloud Services Management: Evaluate, select, and manage cloud service providers and offerings that align with the organization's needs and security requirements. Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and scalability.
Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD): Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. Ensure the pipelines are secure, efficient, and support zero-downtime deployments.
Incident Response and Monitoring: Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and incident response mechanisms to detect and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities promptly.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development and operations teams. Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration within the organization.
Research and Innovation: Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies, DevSecOps practices, and emerging security threats. Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance system performance and security.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Information Technology including Information Security OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Information Technology including Information Security
Extensive experience as a Cloud Architect, DevOps Engineer, or related roles, with a strong focus on cloud technologies and security.
Proven expertise in cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and a track record of designing and implementing secure and scalable cloud architectures.
Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Deep understanding of DevSecOps principles and practical implementation in CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance standards, and industry best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Relevant certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar are a plus.
