Job Title: Infor WMS ArchitectLocation: Chicago, IL 100% RemoteEmployment Type: Long-Term ContractIndustry: Foodservice Equipment & DistributionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Infor WMS Architect to design, configure, and optimize scalable warehouse management solutions for a leading distribution organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Infor WMS architecture, integration design, and solution scalability while ensuring alignment with business goals and warehouse best practices.This role requires strong leadership in designing end-to-end solutions, guiding technical teams, and ensuring successful deployment of Infor WMS in complex, high-volume warehouse environments.ResponsibilitiesDefine the overall architecture and solution design for Infor WMS implementations (Cloud and On-Premise).Provide strategic direction and technical leadership across all phases of WMS implementation.Conduct requirement analysis, process re-engineering, and gap assessments to propose scalable architecture solutions.Design and oversee system integrations with ERP (e.g., Infor CSI, M3, SAP), transportation, barcode/RF, and 3rd-party logistics platforms.Establish standards and best practices for WMS configuration, data migration, and system performance optimization.Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Create detailed solution architecture documentation, including system flows, integration diagrams, and technical specifications.Provide guidance during UAT/SIT, troubleshoot complex system issues, and support go-live stabilization.Mentor project teams and provide technical governance throughout project delivery.Qualifications8+ years of hands-on experience with Infor WMS (Cloud and On-Premise), including at least 3 years in a solution architect role.Strong expertise in warehouse operations and processes (receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, cycle counting).Proven track record in Infor WMS architecture and integrations with ERP, shipping, and automation systems.Experience with Infor CSI, M3, or other ERP platforms is highly desirable.Strong knowledge of system performance tuning, scalability, and high-availability designs.Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.Experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution industries.Ability to work independently and provide thought leadership in a remote setting.Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
