Industrial Designer Needed for "Party Animalz" Novelty Drinking Vessel (DFM focus)
Project Overview:
I am launching a novelty drinking accessory brand called "Party Animalz" and need an Industrial Designer to develop our flagship product. The concept is a high-quality, animal-themed drinking vessel (beer bong) where the fluid is dispensed through a detailed animal figurine.
The Prototype:
The first model in the line is named "The Beer Stallion." I have developed a functional prototype (pictures and video attached) using a modified plastic horse. We need to turn this "proof of concept" into a professional, mass-producible product.
We are starting with a Horse for the initial CAD engineering, but the internal mechanics must be modular so we can easily adapt the design for other Party Animalz drinking vessels in the future ie. Bald Eagle, Big Foot, Giraffe, Elephant, Octopus, etc. in the next phase.
Key Design Requirements:
The Intake: A universal port at the rear of the animal (the "tail" area) that allows for a standard amount of liquid from a 12oz and/or 16oz beverage.
The Reservoir: A hollow, food-safe internal body that holds the liquid without leaking.
The Spout: An ergonomic drinking spout integrated into the horse's mouth.
Manufacturing (DFM): The design must be optimized for Plastic Injection Molding, including proper wall thickness, parting lines, and draft angles.
Deliverables:
3D CAD Files: Native SolidWorks or Fusion 360 files, plus STEP/IGES for the factory.
Technical Drawings: A PDF "Tech Pack" with dimensions and material specs.
Basic Renders: To show the product from multiple angles for initial review.
