Income Tax Consultant
About the position We are looking for an experienced Federal and State Income Tax Return Consultant for our multinational manufacturing client on a project basis. This contract role is hybrid and requires ability to serve at least 3-days a week on-site in Charlotte, North Carolina. Responsibilities • Prepare federal and state income tax returns and related tax documents • Assist with tax provision schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain company's tax database • Perform tax research and analyze returns for compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields • 5+ years of relevant income tax return experience at large Fortune 1000 organization • 3+ years experience using ONESOURCE Income Tax (OIT) and Tax Provision (OTP) required • Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
