In-House Loan Officer
Are you a driven professional passionate about helping people achieve their dream of homeownership? Success Mortgage Partners seeks an In-House Mortgage Loan Originator to join our dynamic team. This role involves engaging with both inbound and outbound leads, assisting borrowers with online applications, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the loan process. This position can be remote!
Essential Job Functions:
Ā Actively engage with inbound and outbound leads via phone, email, and online platforms, qualifying borrowers based on their financial needs and goals.
Ā Collect and accurately document borrower information, including income, employment details, and credit history. Run DU and calculate borrower income as part of application intake.
Ā Review and analyze credit reports and financial documents to determine eligibility and loan options.
Ā Maintain accurate tracking of the mortgage pipeline to ensure timely follow-ups and completion of loan processing.
Ā Clearly explain available loan programs, interest rates, terms, and fees to help borrowers make informed decisions.
Ā Recommend loan amounts, repayment schedules, and terms while adhering to underwriting guidelines and customer needs.
Ā Ensure all required documents are completed and accurate before submitting files to underwriting.
Skills/ Abilities and Experience Requirements:
Ā Active mortgage license (with a willingness to obtain multi-state licensing).
Ā Minimum of one year of loan origination experience.
Ā Familiarity with Encompass LOS is a plus.
Ā Proficiency with online loan platforms and CRM systems for managing leads and tracking progress.
