The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.
Your Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Student- Product Engineering- Fargo ND - Partial Remote for John Deere Electronic Solutions located in Fargo, ND, you will
Work closely with the supervisor or other engineering personnel to support product testing, design, and review
Maintain documentation for each design in a neat and organized fashion (review with supervisor or other engineering personnel)
Perform other engineering tasks as directed by an engineering supervisor or mentor
Both on the job and classroom training will be provided
This position is not available to students on immigration visas.
What Skills You Need
Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in electrical/computer engineering or computer science; others may apply
Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited college/university
Graduation date of December 2024 or later
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
Available to work remotely 10-20 hours/week during the academic year
Available to work onsite 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester
Must be able to commute to the work location in Fargo, North Dakota, on a regular basis during the summer semester (NOTE: Relocation assistance is not provided.)
Must be able to work remotely during the school-year

Understanding of microprocessor/microcontrollers
Knowledge of power electronics and motor testing
