TCHS will pay a sign-on bonus of $1,500 for a qualified candidate after six months of completing a CDA program and an additional three months of successful employment. The offer is for external new hires only.

Preschool Teacher 2: Full Time, 35 hours a week for 52 weeks. Schedule: Monday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM and Tuesday - Friday 7:15 AM - 3:00 PM
This position serves in a classroom to provide an appropriate social and emotional environment to expand children's ability to learn, grow, and build trusting relationships. This role works in a classroom-based setting with typically and atypically developing children and provides daily supervision and support for children's developmental needs. Positions may be reassigned to various classrooms/centers for program operations.
The hourly wage ranges from $15.31 - $21.72 depending on education level and experience.
The minimum requirements for this position are;
Must be 18 years of age and have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent certificate
Willing to obtain CDA within six months of hire. Tri-County Head Start will provide opportunities for training support to get a teacher's qualification, including CDA support and coaching.
TCHS will offer financial support toward a BA or AA degree in Early Childhood Education.
Previous experience working in early childhood with children ages birth through five years preferred.
