Key Responsibilities and Duties As an Operations Crew Member, your primary responsibilities will include event set-up, tear down, changeovers, and daily operational work related to concerts, sporting events, meetings, and other events that take place at the Forum. Your duties will be diverse and may include: Preparing the physical setup of all areas around the venue, including flooring, chairs, tables, walls, staging, furnishings, and equipment. Caring for all venue equipment and property by storing equipment properly, cleaning and repairing broken or damaged items, and alerting management of any mistreatment of property. Installing and removing various large heavy components utilized for concerts and other types of events. Maintaining organized storage areas assigned, as well as stocking supplies throughout the building. Responding and resolving set-up issues promptly as directed by fellow staff and management. Operating industrial vehicles such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and other lifting equipment (training will be provided if necessary). Performing other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience and/or training in the public assembly facility management industry is a plus. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business requires. Strong understanding of verbal and written instructions in English. Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work independently and in a team environment. Able to work with people effectively, understand and execute instructions, and communicate effectively with internal staff and external clients. Ability to operate equipment such as carts, forklifts, and pallet jacks is a plus. Special Requirements of the Job This position requires: Frequent bending, ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods of time, exposure to multiple external elements, and extensive walking through the building. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
