This role offers a salary package of a competitive salary, commensurate with experience.   Job title: Transportation Secretary Company: Lexington School District 4 Job description : Qualifications: Associate’s degree, vocational technical degree or specialized training that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of two years of college education with emphasis in secretarial, or related field, supplemented by one to two years of responsible secretarial experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience. Job Goal: Under limited supervision, provides varied and specialized clerical and operational support to ensure a safe, efficient transportation system. Works with public to ensure high level of customer service. Reports to: Chief of Operations & Transportation Assistant Administrator Performance Responsibilities: (includes but not limited to): * Communicates with parents and drivers to provide safe and efficient transportation for all students. Provides varied and specialized clerical and secretarial support. Receives and responds to inquiries, concerns and complaints in areas of responsibility. Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals such as co-workers, other administrators and staff, school administration and staff, vendors, and the general public. Assist with the operation of the daily routing system through use of transportation routing computer program. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Physical Requirements: Requires light work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 20 pounds of force on a recurring basis, adeptness and speed in the use of fingers, hands or limbs on repetitive operation of electronic office machines within moderate tolerances or limits accuracy. Terms of Employment: Lexington 4 Support Salary Schedule Grade 10. Interim through end of the 23-24 SY (May 24, 2023).
