Job Summary

As a General Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, monitoring production processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You will work collaboratively with our team to identify and implement process improvements, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Key Responsibilities


Operate and maintain production equipment, including troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance tasks.
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S and other quality standards.
Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, and report any incidents or near misses.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, suggesting ideas for process enhancements.


Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:


A minimum of two years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
A strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly.
A commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:


A technical degree or certification.
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
Knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
Experience with production planning and scheduling systems.
