Essential Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications and experience requirements:

U.S. citizenship, with proof of citizenship required as part of the application process.
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
A minimum of one year of experience in a related field, such as education, childcare, or youth development, with progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates the ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of an Educational Aid.
Education substitution, with 2 years (60 semester hours) of education above high school, or a combination of education and general experience that meets the computed percentage of the requirements.

Experience working with children and youth in an educational or childcare setting, with a strong understanding of child development and learning principles.
