The Data Entry position in Lubbock, TX is a full-time, contract role that supports the Cotton Planning Team within the Cotton Seed Supply department. The role involves data entry, management of master data, and analysis to ensure accurate inventory and costing information. The position requires hybrid work, with onsite presence required once a week.

Responsibilities
• Input data into digital spreadsheets and/or databases.

• Update existing records and verify entered data.
,
• Assist administration in day-to-day tasks.
,
• Post inventories into SAP.
,
• Monitor Bill of Lading to ensure timely receipt of required samples and correct tests.
,
• Classify batches to proper quality status with production managers' guidance.
,
• Manage materials extension requests and resolve BOM, recipe, and costing issues.
,
• Interface with finance and controlling for accurate costing information.
,
• Analyze materials to ensure accurate costing and minimize cost variances.
,
• Participate in monthly financial variance review meetings.
,
• Perform data extractions/downloads from SAP and create reports using BW and Power BI.
,
• Build charts/graphs and KPIs for inventory analysis.
,
• Present and interpret data to assist in data-driven decision making.

Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent.
,
• 1 year of experience with Microsoft Excel.
,
• Experience with SAP is a plus.

Nice-to-haves
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
