Job Title: SAP ABAP Lead Location: RemoteDuration: 6-month contract with multiple extensions Rate: $60/hr. on W2 (No C2C)Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Lead to drive and oversee development activities in ECC to S/4HANA upgrade projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in ABAP development and proven experience in leading technical teams through at least two successful ECC to S/4HANA upgrade projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead the ABAP development team in S/4HANA migration and implementation projects.Provide technical guidance on custom code remediation, performance optimization, and best practices.Analyze, design, and implement custom solutions and enhancements across SAP modules.Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements.Ensure quality, timely delivery, and adherence to project standards.Conduct code reviews and mentor junior ABAP developers.Required Skills & Experience:8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.Strong knowledge of RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).Hands-on experience with 2+ ECC to S/4HANA upgrade/migration projects.Expertise in S/4HANA-specific development (CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, Fiori integration).Solid understanding of SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, or PP from a technical perspective.Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.Ability to lead and coordinate technical teams.Nice to Have:Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Exposure to integration technologies (SAP PI/PO, CPI).Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
