Deliverables
Illustrate and finalize artwork for a 120-page graphic novel, ensuring consistency in style and quality throughout
Collaborate closely with the author to interpret and visually represent the established source material
Incorporate feedback and revisions as needed to achieve the desired artistic vision
Prepare artwork files for print and digital formats, adhering to technical specifications
Meet agreed-upon deadlines and maintain clear communication throughout the project
Requirements
Proven experience in graphic novel or comic illustration, with a portfolio showcasing relevant work
Strong drawing, composition, and storytelling skills, particularly in fantasy and historical genres
Ability to take direction, accept constructive criticism, and work collaboratively
Proficiency with digital illustration tools and file preparation for print
High attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished, professional artworkAvailability for ongoing communication and potential follow-up work
Interest or familiarity with West African culture and history is a plus
