Responsibilities

Peraton requires Network LAN/WAN Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3.

Positions are located at the USSOCOM Headquarters on MacDill, AFB FL.

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

The Network LAN/WAN Administrator performs Tier one and two network support in accordance with the SIE OPORD.
• Support installation, configuration, tuning, testing, operation, monitoring, upgrading, patching, and automation of LAN/WAN routing and switching infrastructure.
• Plan, design, engineer, configure, operate, maintain, defend, troubleshoot, and repair LAN/WAN systems, including:
• Point-to-point circuits, satellite links, dedicated and broadband Internet connections.
• VLAN architectures supporting USSOCOM, Component Commands, TSOCs, and deployed forces.
• Wireless LANs (classified and unclassified), including access points and wired integration.
• Program of Record (POR) and WAN automation infrastructure (routers, switches, encryption devices, and commercial/USSOCOM circuits).
• Provision, operate, and monitor secure LAN/WAN VPN services connecting remote users and mission partners, ensuring compliance with DoD, DIA, DISA, USCYBERCOM, and USSOCOM directives.
• Troubleshoot voice, data, and transmission networks; assess the impact of architectural changes.
• Maintain network documentation, create monitoring reports, and manage equipment logs.
• Remotely provision, configure, update, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN routers and switches.
• Coordinate with government and commercial providers to expedite circuit restorations.
• Support and participate in LAN/WAN-related exercises.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
• Min 9 years with HS Diploma, 7 years with AS/AA degree, 5 years with BS/BA degree, 3 years with a MS/MA degree
• DoDD 8570.01-M IAT II
• A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required
• Experience with a variety of network protocols, software, and hardware involved in LAN and WAN operations
• A minimum of three years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in implementing, administering, performing testing, and analyzing network.

• OR CC DevNet Associate
• OR Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA)

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.EEO
