Roster – 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. The position is eligible for a site uplift.What will your typical day look like?Promote and ensure the appropriate standards of health, safety and environmental management are adhered toIdentify and improve/develop company HSE policies, systems and programs, whilst monitoring legislative requirements to ensure positive HSE outcomes are reached for staff, clients and contractorsProvide HSE training and advice to managers and staff on industry best practiceManage accident/incident investigations and prevention initiativesLiaise and represent the company on all HSE matters with clients, government agencies and the community in general Report on all facets of HSE as requiredParticipate and represent HSE in tender preparation and reviewManage HSE within projects with team membersWorks close with project management and human resourcesMaintains and fosters relationships with current and potential stakeholders, in particular, clients, service providers, contractors, subcontractors and employeesMake decision and implement improvements relating to HSE matters on projects or site locations as deemed required in conjunction with Senior Management approval where the improvement carries a significant financial component.What do we want to know about you?Minimum Cert IV Workplace Health and Safety is essentialExperience and proven track record implementing HSE for a contractor within heavy industry at project and corporate level Proficient user of the Microsoft Office Suite in particular Word and ExcelPrepared to travel regularlyQualification/significant Experience in Tap root, ICAM, 5 Why Investigation MethodsExperience in a Rail EnvironmentCert IV Training & AssessingExperience managing teams of PeopleAuditing/Lead Auditor qualifications/experienceWe are a 2025 Circle Back Initiative Employer, we commit to respond to every applicant.Who are we?
