HR/Payroll Specialist

Job Overview:
This HR/Payroll Specialist position is in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and working with diverse set of clientele, with a critical attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be required to be responsible for, among others, the following:
Job Description:
Ā Full cycle payroll processing for multiple clients: Compile payroll data such as garnishments, PTO time, insurance and other deductions. Review timecards for completeness, and contact various department managers for any missed times. Process transfer of payroll data to ADP on scheduled basis. Compile internal management reports from payroll system software.
Ā Assist HR Manager with administration of various employee benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, HSA, and 401(k) plans. Review benefit enrollment forms for accuracy and coordinate enrollment with third-party administrator. Communicate of service providers concerning routine administrator of programs.
Ā Assist HR Manager with entire employment life cycle, from on-boarding to off-boarding.
Ā Assist HR Manager in maintaining compliance with all applicable HR-related Local, State and Federal laws and reporting requirements

Job Requirements:
Ā 3-5 years experience in payroll processing and related compensation tasks.
Ā Expert knowledge of ADP payroll platforms, including ADP RUN and ADP WorkForceNow.
Ā Knowledge of employee benefit plans, FMLA coordination, COBRA and/or Cal-COBRA, leave and benefits legislation.
Ā Excellent knowledge of office software including Microsoft Excel and Word, including Excel pivot tables and Word Mail Merge.
Ā Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Ā Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
