HR Coordinator, Talent & Programs - London (Hybrid)

The Human Resources Coordinator (Talent & Programs) is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to HR functions, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, and employee experience initiatives.ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including confidential documentationEnsure data integrity within the HRIS (UKG) and support ongoing system usageAct as Secretary to the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC): coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, and maintain records and intranet contentRespond to general HR inquiries and provide guidance on policies and programsSupport the administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of HR policies and programsProvide coordination and administrative support of firm events and employee engagement initiativesSupport recruitment processes for assigned roles, including:Drafting job postings and coordinating postingsScreening resumes and coordinating interviewsCommunicating with candidates throughout the processAssist in developing interview guides and basic assessment tools to support consistent hiring practicesSupport the delivery of onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for new hiresGather feedback from new employees on their onboarding experienceIdentify opportunities to enhance onboarding processes and support continuous improvementAssist in preparing and distributing HR communications (e.g., announcements, program materials, internal updates)Contribute to maintaining a positive and engaging employee experience through consistent and professional supportMaintain and track HR data related to recruitment, onboarding, and employee experienceAssist in preparing reports and summaries to support HR decision-makingIdentify trends or recurring themes in data and employee feedbackSupport the development of metrics and dashboards over timeSupport the development of materials and resources related to recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagementContribute to HR projects as requiredGradually take on increased responsibility for specific programs (e.g., student or early talent initiatives) as experience developsSkillsHuman Resources degree or diploma (or related education/experience)1–2 years of HR or administrative experience in a professional environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailDemonstrated ability to take initiative and manage competing prioritiesCHRP designation complete or in progressExposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, or HR program coordinationBasic knowledge of employment-related legislation (ESA, Human Rights Code, etc.)Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., UKG) and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365BenefitsHealth, Extended Health, Dental and Vision careLTD insuranceLife insuranceParking/Transit reimbursementRRSP matching programPaid Volunteer TimeReferral BonusEmployee Assistance ProgramCompany OverviewLerners LLP is a full service law firm that has grown to become one of Ontario’s largest firms.
