DFCS is seeking candidates for the position of Caregiver Navigator, Hourly with no benefits. This position reports to the Recruitment and Retention Manager.The Caregiver Navigator works in a remote, professional call center-like environment answering phone calls from the 877-210-KIDS inquiry and caregiver warmline and responding to web-based chats. The Caregiver Navigator assists prospective caregivers with understanding the approval process; and works closely with the Inquiry Response Case Managers and Regional staff in providing information and referrals to support foster, adoptive and kinship caregivers. The Caregiver Navigators will be required to work 2-5 days a week to consist of no more than 24 hours a week primarily Monday to Friday with some rare weekend activities included. This position is Virtual/Work from Home. JOIN OUR TEAM!!!Position DutiesJob Responsibilities:Answers the Caregiver Inquiry and Warmline in a professional manner.Maintains contact with prospective caregivers through the onboarding and approval process.Tracks caregivers through the approval process.Processes inquiries received via 877-210-KIDS inquiry line.Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned. This is a part time position with no benefits. Minimum QualificationsBi-lingual candidate is strongly preferred.Current foster, adoptive or kinship caregiver in good standing.Former foster, adoptive or kinship caregiver who closed in good standing.Five (5) years of experience as a foster, adoptive or kinship caregiver.Three (3) years of experience in a customer service setting communicating information.Strong customer service background.Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and prioritize work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent report writing skills.Excellent oral, written, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and/or standard software applications typically used in a corporate office environment.Virtual (Work from Home) Requirements of position:Strong, dependable home internet with the ability to be hard-wired (ethernet) into the network.
