Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Engineer II to join our team. This position will work on highly regulated systems on our FedRamp High platform. We are looking for an independent thinker that produces production ready code quickly while maintaining high standards.
• Influence the coding practices of the team
• Perform code reviews
• Mentor team members
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Technical Project Management (TPM), and Product Management (PM) peers
• Deliver high-quality code that solves important business problems in a predictable and repeatable manner
• Contribute to a combination of brand new initiatives and existing technology upgrades and refactorizations

Qualifications
• US Citizenship is required to work on production FedRamp systems
• 5+ years of experience in software development, across at least 2 different programming languages
• 3+ years experience Java Spring Boot Rest development
• 1+ years working within Amazon Web Services systems for development and production applications
• Previous experience with highly regulated SaaS platforms
• Interest in accelerating development output using AI tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Organizational skills, including the ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of software development life cycle methodologies
• DB experience in Relational DBs like PostgreSQL and/or Oracle
• Hands-on experience building specs and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with large volume web based applications
• Experience building scalable web sites
• Experience conducting code reviews and enforcing best coding practices
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps workflows
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain legacy systems

• Perform code reviews, ensuring adherence to standards
• Be responsible for producing architectural proposals
• Lead by example and influence peers positively
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

Benefits
• Salary range: $120,000 - $200,000 USD annually
• Total compensation package may include annual performance bonus, ESPP, enhanced time off packages and benefits

Additional Details
• Location requirements: Fully remote within the U.S. (Los Angeles or Las Vegas preferred)
• Travel requirements: Up to 10% travel
• Physical requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods and handle long periods of screen time
• Technology requirements: Reliable, high speed internet
• Eligible for sponsorship: No
• Security clearance: Ability to achieve and maintain a security clearance with the U.S. Government is required
