Role Description
This role involves serving as a Pioneer Seeds Field Sales Agronomist in West Central IL, focusing on providing solutions to customers and supporting a high-performing team.
• Work with growers on the farm and in their fields alongside Pioneer Sales Rep agencies.
• Contribute to a high-performing and dynamic sales team.
• Build relationships and drive sales of Pioneer® brand products.
• Develop and provide agronomic and product education and training to the field sales force.
• Maintain thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Pioneer products and services.
• Leverage the complete Corteva portfolio to deliver a comprehensive offering.
• Collaborate with the Product Life Cycle Manager and Agronomy Manager on field trials.
• Serve as a primary agronomic resource to Territory Managers.
• Anticipate market opportunities and threats.
• Troubleshoot customer concerns and deliver mutually beneficial solutions.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 5-7 years of agronomy sales experience.
• Agronomy and crop production experience is preferred.
Requirements
• Must be able to sell, negotiate, influence, resolve conflict, and coach.
• Ability to pass a driving record background check.
• VISA sponsorship and International Relocation are NOT available for this position.
