We are currently recruiting dedicated Hiring O&M Specialist for Schools in Glendale, AZ. This role offers competitive compensation and benefits designed to support you as you help students with visual impairments gain independence.
Overview:
• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Responsibilities include planning and teaching mobility skills tailored to each student’s needs, per their IEP
• Performing thorough assessments addressing both immediate and ongoing requirements
• Regular collaboration with families, classroom teachers, and special education staff
• Position requires onsite presence
• Additional details provided during interview
Qualifications:
• Valid IVP fingerprint clearance
• Master’s degree in Orientation and Mobility or a related discipline
• Certified by ACVREP
• At least two years of experience in a public school setting
