 Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures by preparing animals, equipment, and medications.
 Monitor the vital signs of animals and report any changes to the veterinarian.
 Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
 Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and fecal examinations, under the supervision of a veterinarian.
 Provide compassionate care to animals, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their visit.
 Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and post-treatment care for their pets.
 Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
 Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilizing instruments and maintaining equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications:
 Must be a Certified Veterinary Technician with an active certification.
 Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program.
 Proven experience as a Certified Veterinary Technician in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting.
 Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and common diseases.
 Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
 Compassion for animals and a commitment to providing high-quality veterinary care.
 Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
 Physical ability to lift and restrain animals and perform other tasks that require strength and stamina.
