- Process UB04 and HCFA-1500 claims accurately and efficiently
- Verify billing data accuracy and make necessary revisions
- Identify and report claim submission issue trends to management
- Investigate and review accounts receivable, following productivity standards
- Analyze daily aging of insurance accounts and take appropriate follow-up actions
- Analyze and resolve denied claims to ensure accurate payments and maximum reimbursement
- Status claims resolution, appeals, and corrected claims via payer websites
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Medical Billing/Coding Program certificate
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience with third-party billing in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web navigation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a hospital or physician's office
- Familiarity with web-based applications
