Role Description
This is a high-ownership operations role for someone who is extremely organized, tech-savvy, and proactive. You will manage inventory planning, forecasting, production scheduling, and operational coordination while communicating clearly with U.S. customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. You should be excellent at written communication, structured problem-solving, and visually summarizing issues and solutions for leadership.
Operations, Planning & Forecasting
ā¢ Own inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment for short shelf-life products
ā¢ Build and maintain production schedules and demand forecasts
ā¢ Track inventory levels, rate of sale, yields, expirations, and risk flags
ā¢ Identify operational risks early (stock-outs, excess inventory, aging product)
Systems & Data Management
ā¢ Own and manage Airtable as the core operations system
ā¢ Maintain clean, accurate, and structured operational data
ā¢ Build dashboards, trackers, and workflows using Airtable and Excel
ā¢ Present data clearly and visually to summarize issues and proposed solutions
Communication & Coordination
ā¢ Manage operational communication with U.S. customers, distributors, and partners
ā¢ Handle emails, follow-ups, timelines, and coordination with a high level of professionalism
ā¢ Clearly summarize problems, root causes, and recommended actions for leadership
ā¢ Support customer service and order-related coordination as needed
Tech & Automation
ā¢ Use AI tools (ChatGPT and similar) to improve workflows, communication, and analysis
ā¢ Be highly tech-savvy and comfortable adopting new tools and systems quickly
ā¢ Continuously improve operational processes and documentation
General Startup Support
ā¢ Operate with a high sense of ownership and accountability
ā¢ Be proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced startup environment
ā¢ Support cross-functional needs as the business scales
Qualifications
ā¢ Prior experience in an operations-focused role (inventory, supply chain, planning, or forecasting)
ā¢ Experience managing short shelf-life or perishable inventory
ā¢ Hands-on experience working with Airtable
ā¢ Experience working with U.S. customers and U.S.-based clients
ā¢ Excellent written and spoken English (emails, summaries, presentations)
ā¢ Strong Excel skills (forecasting, planning, tracking)
ā¢ Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
ā¢ Highly tech-savvy, comfortable using AI tools and modern software
ā¢ Comfortable working US Central Time hours
Requirements
