Role Description We are seeking a dedicated Risk Management and Compliance Specialist with extensive experience in hospital systems in Texas. The successful candidate will be well-versed in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within healthcare settings while promoting a culture of safety and compliance. • Identify and assess potential risks in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and clinics. • Develop and implement strategic risk mitigation plans to enhance patient safety and minimize liability. • Manage legal and regulatory compliance, insurance policies, and claims processing efficiently. • Collaborate with different departments to ensure safety and operational efficiency across the organization. Qualifications • Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) required. • JD preferred, but not required. • At least 10 years of direct experience working in Texas and/or familiarity with Texas healthcare regulations. • Extensive experience in risk management within a hospital system. • Proven track record in clinical/patient safety, risk financing, legal and regulatory compliance, healthcare operations, and claims/litigation management. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
