Role Description We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Systems Solutions Architect to lead the design, development and implementation of our most critical and complex software systems. In this highly influential role, you will define the technical vision, global standards, and ensure seamless inter-operability across Legends technology landscape. The ideal candidate is a hands-on expert who combines broad functional and technical knowledge with exceptional leadership and communication skills to collaborate across teams to solve our most challenging engineering problems. • Technical Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of large-scale, high-performance, and resilient software solutions. • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to senior, staff, and junior engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and one-on-one coaching. • Strategic Direction: Define and communicate the technical roadmap for software development, aligning solution delivery efforts with overall business goals. • Design and Architecture: Serve as a subject matter expert on software architecture, design patterns, and emerging technologies. • Innovation: Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation across the engineering organization. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross functional technology and business teams and other stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions. • Problem-Solving: Tackle the most difficult and ambiguous technical challenges, providing hands-on coding and debugging expertise where needed. • Quality Assurance: Drive a culture of quality, scalability, and testability by establishing and enforcing high standards for code quality, testing, and deployment. Qualifications • Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a significant track record of delivering and owning complex software systems. • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Requirements • Architectural Expertise: Demonstrated experience applying solution and enterprise architecture principles to identify and design solutions impacting complex enterprise application environments. • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience and expertise in Enterprise solutions, including Dynamics 365, Workday, Infor and other technology solutions enabling Finance, HR, Legal, Employee Collaboration and other enterprise capabilities. • Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platform enablement leveraging Microsoft and Azure DevOps and environment management for application and integration infrastructure. • System Design: Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and Enterprise and Solution Architecture approaches. • Methodologies: Proficient with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices (CI/CD). • Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and influence technical teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
