Role Description
Trisian-Global Consulting LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Automation Consultant to work 10 - 20 hours per week. This is a remote position with flexible hours. Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder with Power BI, DAX, Smartsheet and experience using CAPS (Centralized Accounting Processing System).
ā¢ Design and implement automated data workflows that reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
ā¢ Design and implement enterprise-scale reporting environments using Smartsheet and Power BI.
ā¢ Develop executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, and portfolio reporting solutions that provide real-time operational visibility.
ā¢ Build governed Power BI semantic models using DAX, Power Query, and role-based security to support enterprise analytics and secure data distribution.
ā¢ Analyze financial and operational business processes to identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
ā¢ Utilize CAPS (Centralized Accounting Processing System) or similar financial systems to support financial data automation and reporting.
ā¢ Translate business requirements into scalable data automation solutions.
ā¢ Maintain and optimize reporting infrastructure and automation processes.
ā¢ Provide technical guidance and best practices for data governance, documentation, and reporting standards.
ā¢ Troubleshoot and resolve data and automation issues to ensure consistent system performance.
ā¢ Lead or support enterprise automation and analytics initiatives.
ā¢ Train business and technical users on Smartsheet and Power BI platforms to improve adoption and self-service analytics.
ā¢ Collaborate with finance, operations, and technology teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
Qualifications
ā¢ Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
ā¢ Minimum of 5 years of experience in data automation or a similar role.
ā¢ Experience with business intelligence tools such as Smartsheet, Power BI or similar platforms.
ā¢ Experience designing and implementing data automation and reporting solutions.
ā¢ Experience working with financial data, finance operations, or financial reporting environments.
ā¢ Experience using CAPS (Centralized Accounting Processing System) or similar financial systems.
ā¢ Strong experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools.
ā¢ Experience working with data integration, data transformation, and reporting systems.
ā¢ Ability to analyze complex business processes and identify automation opportunities.
ā¢ Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
ā¢ Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
ā¢ Experience with workflow automation platforms.
ā¢ Knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, or scripting for automation.
ā¢ Experience supporting enterprise analytics, reporting modernization, or digital transformation initiatives.
