Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Data Annotation Specialist to join our team. This entry-level position plays a critical role in supporting AI and machine learning initiatives by accurately labeling and annotating various data types, including images, text, and videos. Your work will directly contribute to the development of high-quality datasets used to train cutting-edge models.
What You’ll Do
• Accurately label and annotate data across various projects to support AI and machine learning.
• Ensure appropriateness of social media content.
• Work in a back-office setting (no customer interaction).
• Utilize strong computer navigation skills and adapt to new technologies quickly.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED.
• 6+ months of computer or technical experience.
• Typing speed of at least 30 AWPM.
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with iOS/MacOS or similar technology preferred.
• Quiet, distraction-free home workspace.
• High-speed wired internet (minimum 10 Mbps upload/download; no wireless, hotspots, or satellite).
• Smartphone required.
Work Environment & Schedule
• Remote: Must maintain a professional environment (no background noise such as pets or doorbells).
• Hours of Operation: 7:00 AM – 10:30 PM CT, Monday–Sunday (including weekends and holidays).
• Flexible Scheduling: You can choose your own schedule within the hours of operation. Once selected, you must maintain the same schedule consistently.
• Must be available 30–40 hours per week; additional hours may vary based on business needs.
Training Schedule
• Day 1: 9/15 (Orientation)
• Days 2–4: 9/17–9/19 (Equipment setup and access)
• Training Start: 9/22 (2-week classroom training)
