BA required in appropriate major study


Knowledge of content in area of certification


Classroom/group management skills


Ability to use instructional materials and equipment


Knowledge of child growth and development


Instructional skills


Planning Skills


Human Relations Skills


Must be able to organize a classroom to deliver the Upper Darby School District academic program


Strong communication and motivational skills


Ability to effectively communicate with, instruct, and work with students, staff and parents/guardians
