HGV Class 2 Driver

We are looking for a Customer Delivery Operative – HGV Class 2 to deliver goods to customers, whilst also providing an excellent customer service experience. In this role, you will:Take pride in being responsible for ensuring customers receive the hire equipment they have ordered or collected, on time and in a positive, friendly mannerEnsure we meet our target of 98% on-time deliveryResolve problems promptly, communicating with customers and colleagues as neededLoad and unload THX’s hire equipment using appropriate lifting equipment and manual handling techniquesFollow safe working processes while driving and loading/unloading.YOU MAY ALSO:Communicate with colleagues in other departments to ensure customer requirements are metOperate THX’s delivery IT system, updating the system data and taking pictures of equipmentRaise issues and opportunities to improve the THX operationsIdentify sales opportunities while travelling and report these back to the sales teamDuring quieter periods, you may be required to support our Warehouse and/or Workshop department.The full-time schedule ranges from start times between 5:00am-7.30am, Monday to Friday.RequirementsIT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU HAVE:Experience in providing excellent customer serviceA valid, clean UK HGV Class 2 licence and up-to-date CPCExperience in driving and delivering goodsFamiliarity with IT and navigation systems.You will also ideally have a current IPAF licence.BenefitsTHX is no ordinary workplace!
