HEDIS Nurse

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HEDIS Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of care provided to patients by collecting, analyzing, and managing healthcare data. This position requires a strong background in clinical practices and data management, as well as proficiency in various healthcare IT systems. Duties • Conduct comprehensive data collection and analysis to support HEDIS measures. • Collaborate with healthcare providers to gather necessary clinical information. • Utilize databases and SQL for effective data management and reporting. • Engage in system design activities to improve data collection processes. • Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives related to health outcomes. • Maintain accurate records of patient information while adhering to medical terminology standards. • Perform data mining and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in patient care. • Ensure compliance with managed care regulations and guidelines. Skills • Proficiency in Epic and other healthcare IT systems. • Strong understanding of managed care principles and practices. • Experience with databases, SQL, and health information management. • Knowledge of bioinformatics as it relates to patient care data. • Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets. • Familiarity with acute care settings and relevant medical terminology. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data management tasks. • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
