The Healthcare Quality Measure Analyst is responsible for contributing to data analytics, measure development, and software product development within a small but vital group developing quality of care, risk, and data insight measures for multiple Inovalon products. They will support existing data and quality measure operations such as measure development and troubleshooting of data and measure issues. They will work across a variety of products and projects as needed and engage with a variety of health care data. This position requires significant independent work.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Implement technical quality measures by following specifications to develop a set of complex process flows using internal design tool;
• Develop SQL code to analyze and troubleshoot quality measures and results;
• Assist product and support teams to identify and triage problems, determine faults and provide fixes in a timely fashion, particularly with high priority items;
• Develop new processes and procedures to improve departmental efficiency and evangelize across the team;
• Research customer data and measure related questions and develop measures based on custom requirements;
• Able to compare, contrast, and validate work with keen attention to detail;
• Perform quality measure updates on a routine basis to keep product measure catalogs current;
• Work and communicate in a cross-functional geographically dispersed team environment comprised of software engineers and product managers;
• Ensure compliance to company procedures when making changes and implementing code;
• Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and mission statement;
• Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;
• Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.

Job Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of related professional experience;
• Experience in working with healthcare quality measures, e.g. HEDIS, CMS Core Set, State Medicaid measures;
• Knowledge of healthcare data;
• Use of standard data analysis software (e.g. SQL, SAS, R)bility to develop SQL queries for data analysis;
• Ability to work with Commercial Cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.) database tools;
• Demonstrates a growth mind-set, seek feedback often and be effective in continuous personal and professional development;
• Ability to learn quickly and independently;
• Experience with HIPAA and PHI;
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers;
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook);
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Experience working with large datasets of varying complexity and form;

Education:
• Bachelors' degree or relevant work experience in healthcare or data related field preferred;

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
• Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time); Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;
• Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;
• Subject to inside environmental conditions; and
• Travel for this position will include less than 10%, typically for training and collaboration purposes once or twice per year.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Base Compensation Range

$64,826-$110,000 USD
