Healthcare Legal Counsel
A company is looking for a Legal Counsel to serve as an in-house attorney, providing legal guidance and compliance support within the healthcare sector. Key Responsibilities • Design and oversee a scalable healthcare compliance program and provide guidance on healthcare laws and regulations • Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, while supporting clinical and life sciences partnership agreements • Provide day-to-day legal counsel on corporate governance, risk management, and operational legal matters Required Qualifications • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active licensure in at least one U.S. jurisdiction • 5-10+ years of legal experience in healthcare or health technology, ideally with both law firm and in-house roles • Demonstrated expertise in healthcare regulatory areas, including HIPAA and fraud and abuse regulations • Experience in designing and managing healthcare compliance programs for growth-stage companies • Ability to assess and communicate legal risks while balancing compliance with business objectives Apply tot his job
