HEALTH SERVICES DENTAL HYGIENIST
Dental Hygienist
This position is responsible for performing dental prophylactic services and providing education for the prevention and control of dental disease. Work is performed under supervision of dentist. Work is performed in usual clinic conditions; Clean, package, and sterilizes dental instruments using proper technique
Disinfect chairs, cabinets and machines after dental treatments
Take inventory of instruments with proper documentation that it occurred
Serve as Dental Assistant when needed
Ensure dental supplies are on hand and ordered in a timely manner

Completion of an approved dental hygiene training program; licensed to practice dental hygiene by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.
