And we do it all with heart, each and every day. Position Summary This early in career role will support the Claim, Plan Sponsor Services and Payment Integrity COEs. Responsibilities will include FP&A functions (Budgeting & Forecasting, Expense Management, Month Close & Reporting), Operations support (membership-based and metrics driven staffing models) and managing business partnerships. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is needed along with experience with Aetna Finance systems and processes. • The ideal candidate will be located near Hartford, CT and will be in office 3 days/week at the Hartford location. Fundamental components • Maintain and enhance membership-based staffing models for various functions and products, drive efficient staffing to support service expectations. • Develop quarterly forecasts and annual budgets; build rapport and accountability with individual cost center owners to maximize effectiveness • Participate in month close; evaluate, analyze, and present monthly financial results to Business and Finance leaders • Support special projects and perform ad-hoc analyses • Be a creative problem solver within fast evolving environment and have ability to adapt to change Required Qualifications: • 0-2 years of relevant financial experience • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are needed along with experience with financial systems. • Proficiency with Anaplan, Hyperion and S4 Hana. Preferred Qualifications: • Healthcare, managed care or financial services experience • Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or related field Education: • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or related field Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $43,888.00 - $93,574.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
