We are seeking a leader who will oversee all operational processes pertaining to student admissions across all study levels. This includes managing the central admissions team, as well as developing robust admissions policies. You will work closely with Admissions Tutors from various departments and professional staff to devise innovative solutions that will future-proof the university’s admissions approach. Duties and Responsibilities This role requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and responsibilities. Furthermore, your duties and responsibilities will include: Leading, developing, and training a team of central admissions experts. Utilizing data, best practices, and innovative strategies to streamline and enhance the application process. Making strategic and operational decisions to ensure efficient and student-centered admissions processes. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of internal and external policies, as well as the recruitment priorities of our faculties and departments. Leading the development of admissions policies. Offering authoritative advice to internal stakeholders and collaborating with them to implement admissions processes that prioritize students. Leading continuous process improvement efforts that align with policy, procedure, and Imperial’s objectives related to diversification and applicant experience. Ensuring the delivery of exceptional front-line services. Developing high-quality management information and reports. Essential Requirements Hold a Bachelor’s degree or possess equivalent professional experience. Demonstrated experience in leadership roles. Experience in managing record and information systems within a university or similar institution. Thorough understanding of the university admissions process and policy/regulatory issues. A track record of achieving measurable results in a fast-paced environment. Dedication to providing exceptional customer service with a continuous focus on improvement. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong ability to empower others. Ability to handle multiple database systems. Capability to train and support other staff members, delivering feedback with tact and diplomacy. Excellent quantitative, analytical, and reporting skills. Demonstrable evidence of strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
