Job Title: Associate Network Security Engineer - Remote Opportunity with Delta Airlines
Job Description:
Join our team as an Associate Network Security Engineer and play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of Delta Airlines' global network. As a key member of our IT Data Security Division, you will design, implement, and maintain security solutions to protect our applications, clients, partners, and vendors from cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement network security solutions to protect Delta's applications, clients, partners, and vendors
Provide IT support for firewall equipment and software maintenance, including site executions, inventories, and break/fix services
Collaborate with Delta's business divisions to ensure compliance with security policies and access control procedures
Support the IT Data Security Division in maintaining the integrity and availability of enterprise data and applications
Develop and implement departmental strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulations
Project manage server farm and remote communication room standards, capital enhancements, upgrades, and renovations
Ensure accurate documentation, procurement of best-in-class products and services, and vendor compliance with organizational commitments
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, and security protocols
Experience in managing and maintaining server infrastructure on-premises and in the cloud
Ability to analyze and resolve issues related to security tools and their integration with other systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with end-users, vendors, and team members
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities, extended hours, and flexible work arrangements
Strong written and verbal communication skills
