Job Summary As a Group Product Manager - Core Experience & Post Contributors, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of projects across the core experience of Reddit. You will oversee a team of product managers, collaborating with engineering, design, data science, and user research teams to launch new experiences that drive key outcomes for our users. Your goal will be to craft insights that inform product decisions, understand the competitive environment, and work with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Team Management : Oversee a team of product managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure they are equipped to drive key outcomes for our users. Product Execution : Collaborate with engineering and design teams to launch new experiences that meet user needs and drive business results. Data-Driven Decision Making : Work with data science and user research teams to craft insights that inform product decisions and measure success. Competitive Analysis : Stay up-to-date on the competitive environment, analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform product strategy. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with various cross-functional teams, including Ads, Community, Product Marketing, Safety, Moderation, Notifications, and Machine Learning, to achieve business objectives. Strategic Planning : Develop and execute product roadmaps that align with Reddit's wider business objectives, defining experiments and working collaboratively with design and engineering counterparts. Requirements Essential Qualifications Product Management Experience : At least 6+ years of product management experience, with 3-4+ years in consumer product. Leadership Experience : At least 2+ years of experience directly managing product managers. Proven Track Record : Proven experience building product roadmaps, defining experiments, and working collaboratively with design and engineering counterparts. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including a willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive into the minutia. Ability to use SQL is a strong asset. Communication and Interpersonal Skills : Compelling influencer with great communication and interpersonal skills, able to align a diverse group of stakeholders towards a common goal. Machine Learning and LLMs : Direct exposure and a degree of domain expertise in Machine Learning and LLMs applied to UX. Preferred Qualifications Consumer Product Experience : Experience building and launching consumer products that have delivered meaningful business results. Data Analysis : Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to use data to inform product decisions. Agile Methodologies : Experience working in Agile environments, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
